The new Technology Division provides a dedicated innovation and technical platform which will allow wider market reach for its existing and new products, while specialising in advanced technology in practical applications.
The Technology Division will be spearheaded by Woodall Nicholson’s evolving ProMech Technologies company in Scarborough, drawing on core competences in driveline engineering, innovative low-floor chassis design and eMobility solutions. The new division will also benefit from the appointment of John Randerson who takes up the position of Chief Technology Officer for Woodall Nicholson with responsibility for accelerating technical advances across all of Woodall Nicholson’s vehicle manufacturing divisions.
With John Randerson’s technical background, ProMech Technologies presents a unique proposition, to support existing and new relationships with OEMs which will bring exciting technical innovations, including new advances in eMobility, to market. Woodall Nicholson is committed to enhancing its product portfolio across all its brands, to suit its customers and market needs for cleaner, more efficient and cost effective vehicles as well as servicing wider European markets and evolving key strategic opportunities internationally.
